Artist Statement

I became obsessed with painting and art in 1965 when at the age of fourteen on a family outing with my aunt and uncle I met the late great Nebraska painter Augustus Dunbier. From that day on I designed my life around art, and now, forty years later, I still love art and the physical act of painting.
